ABOUT
With over 20 years of experience in academia and research, I am a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, specializing in qualitative methodology with expertise spanning ethnography, mixed methods, and participatory action research. As a dedicated social scientist and qualitative researcher committed to inclusive research and equitable practices, I engage in innovative research—including pioneering AI-assisted approaches for qualitative analysis—promote international collaborations across diverse contexts from Europe to Africa to North America, and mentor budding scholars. My diverse professional experience includes assisting asylum seekers as an Immigration Consultant in the UK and addressing racial discrimination in policing in Canada as a Racial Discrimination Consultant. Through rigorous qualitative research and methodological innovation, I am committed to addressing complex social phenomena including health equity, organizational ethics, and social discrimination, while advancing open science and equitable research practices and training the next generation of researchers.
